Tithes and offering

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse. That is the local church where you are fed. Malachi 3:10.

Give where you are planted

The tithe is a tenth. Where your money goes shows where your heart is. Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21.

Giving is not a tax. God wants a willing heart. “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion.” 2 Corinthians 9:7.

Honour the Lord with the first of what you receive, not with what is left over. Proverbs 3:9-10. The widow in Mark 12 gave what she had, and Jesus saw it.

If you worship at CRC Welkom, your tithe belongs in this house. Phone or email the office and we will give you the Welkom account. Please do not pay a Bloemfontein, Pretoria, or Johannesburg account for a Welkom tithe.
