1982
Pastor At gives his heart to the Lord.
His life turns, and the story of CRC begins in a personal yes to Jesus.
Since 1994
CRC is a move of God with a mandate to win the lost at any cost. It is one of South Africa’s fast-growing churches, and one of the early multicultural churches in the country. Welkom is part of that family.
1982
His life turns, and the story of CRC begins in a personal yes to Jesus.
1986
He completes Bible school in the local church, serves young people, and goes on mission trips into Africa. In 1988 he starts a church in Ladybrand.
1994
Pastors At and Nyretta Boshoff start Christian Revival Church with one mandate: win the lost at any cost. The first meetings are in the Red Cross Hall.
1998
The first auditorium is too small. The church builds again, toward a much larger house with room for children, youth, and administration.
2000
Live-link technology lets CRC churches gather around the same Sunday message. The world gets smaller.
2006
CRC Pretoria begins in a school hall, then in a tent on the land where the auditorium stands today.
2014
After years of building, the Pretoria house opens, paid for by the giving of the people.
2017
A second Bloemfontein auditorium opens to make room for the people.
2019
The Johannesburg auditorium opens. CRC marks 25 years and refreshes its brand at the annual conference.
2020
When the world closes, CRC keeps preaching, on television and online, and CRC Cares feeds families.
2024
Three decades of the same mandate: win the lost at any cost.
2026
CRC keeps taking ground. Welkom is part of that one church.
